For the past 10 years we have supported Business and General Aviation (BGA) customers with MRO for engines and components. During that time, we have mainly focused on the Australia and Asia-Pacific (APAC) region where we have built a strong reputation by delivering safe, high quality, reliable products and services for our Commercial and Defence customers.

While we want to maintain our position as market leader in APAC, we also want to capture opportunities to meet customer demand outside of our region, including the Americas. For three and half years, we have had a Joint Venture in place with Propulsion Controls Company (PCC) in Kansas City to support fuel controls and components for the TPE331 engine. The JV ended on 1st December 2018, and we are pleased to announce that we have now finalised an Asset Purchase Agreement (APA) with PCC’s owner to purchase all of the company’s assets, employ current staff and take over the building in Kansas City. This makes TAE Aerospace the only Woodward and Honeywell licensed repair facility for TPE331 fuel controls and governors in the world. Following the acquisition, we now have two sites in the US; one in Kansas City and one in Texas where we will soon start repairing fuel controls and oil pumps for the AGT1500 tank engine. Our team in the US have been busy setting up the new facility for the AGT1500 fuel controls and are just about to start sending repaired components out to customers. Congratulations to everyone involved in this exciting acquisition.
