CFM Quick Turn Line Operations Manager

Are you an Experienced CFM Operations Manager?

Proudly serving defence and commercial aerospace customers all over the world, TAE Aerospace is excited to announce the addition of a CFM Quick Turn Line to its Turbine Engine Maintenance Facility in Ipswich.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced CFM specialist that can initially run the project to set up our quick turn line and then manage the line, reporting to the Chief Operations Officer. This position will be based in Ipswich and will lead our CFM capability within the Australian business, with tasks including, but not limited to:

  • Project Management of the set up and creation of a CFM Quick Turn Line Capability; and
  • Selection and building of an Operational team; and
  • Liaison with clients in ensuring our capability meets their requirements.

The ideal CFM Operations Manager candidate will possess:

  • Minimum 5 years of CFM operational, type certified experience in an MRO or Airline environment
  • Demonstrable project management and planning ability
  • Integrated ERP Experience 
  • Demonstrable high level negotiation skills
  • Ability to lead, communicate, organise and administer teams 
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance.

A next level candidate will possess:

  • Tertiary qualification in Project Management or Engineering from an accredited university, college, TAFE or equivalent institution.
  • Experience setting up a CFM Quick Turn Line for an engine MRO.
  • Integrated ERP Experience (IFS Preferred)
