{"id":2517,"date":"2020-03-18T17:46:59","date_gmt":"2020-03-18T07:46:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.taeaerospace.com\/our-covid-19-response-a-message-from-our-chief-risk-officer\/"},"modified":"2020-10-09T12:50:44","modified_gmt":"2020-10-09T02:50:44","slug":"covid-19-response-a-message-from-our-chief-risk-officer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.taeaerospace.com\/us\/covid-19-response-a-message-from-our-chief-risk-officer\/","title":{"rendered":"COVID-19 response &#8211; a message from our Chief Risk Officer"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In the last few months we\nhave seen an unprecedented volume of information about the implications of\nCoronavirus (COVID-19) and its significant impact on our society.&nbsp;At TAE\nAerospace we prioritise:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>the health and well-being\nof our customers, partners and staff<\/li><li>the need to constructively\nsupport local health officials and government leaders as they work to contain\nthe virus. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>We would like to reassure our\ncustomers and stakeholders that we are prepared for further potential consequences\nof the virus. We remain focused on continuing our existing support for\ncustomers to minimise disruption. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since the COVID-19\noutbreak, we have activated our Business Continuity Plan. We are subsequently\nimplementing policies in line with the World Health Organisation and the\nAustralian and United States governments\u2019 initiatives, to ensure the health and\nsafety of our people, and the continuity of the services we provide to our\nvalued customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although we are doing\neverything possible to maintain continuity of services from our in-country\nfacilities, we must adhere to government-imposed travel restrictions and the enforceable\n14-day quarantine requirements for all travellers entering Australia and the\nUnited States. Consequently, TAE Aerospace is not currently able to provide\nin-country services, like field service. Our workshops, however, remain open\nand we will continue providing 24\/7 technical support across the globe. Our usual business processes for sending engines and\ncomponents to or from our facilities for maintenance will also continue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our commitment to you is\nthat we will continue daily monitoring to observe and scrutinise any further\ndevelopments or requirements.
