Pratt & Whitney F135

From 2020, TAE Aerospace will provide MRO&U for the Pratt & Whitney F135 engine in the new F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighters across the entire Asia-Pacific region.

We will manage the maintenance and repair work from our new, specially-designed Turbine Engine Maintenance Facility (TEMF) in Ipswich, Queensland. The facility is designed to meet the more complex needs of the F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter, while continuing maintenance and repair work for the F404 and F414 engines.

Our overhaul and repair shop for fast jet gas turbine engines currently features:

  • Maintenance, repair, overhaul and upgrade (MRO&U) for all variants of the F135 engine
  • Engine testing
  • Support equipment maintenance and repair
  • Component non-complex repair
