Andrew Sanderson

Chief Executive Officer

Andrew began his career in the RAAF in 1983, completing a Bachelor of Aeronautical Engineering Degree at RMIT before undertaking a career as an engineering officer. Andrew has also completed a Master of Business Administration from the University of New England and is a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society.

During his RAAF career he had postings across Australia and the United States covering maintenance, engineering, logistics, acquisition and personnel. Andrew left the RAAF in 1999 to establish a new Defence maintenance company that is now known as TAE Aerospace; a global aerospace company, employing over 400 staff and supporting both the Defence and Commercial aviation markets throughout Asia-Pacific and the United States with turbine engine and component maintenance services for fighter aircraft through to aerial agricultural and fire bombing aircraft and the M1 Abrams tank.

In 2022 TAE Aerospace became a member of ASDAM, joining Marand Precision Engineering, Rosebank Engineering and Levett Engineering, and Andrew was appointed CEO of the ASDAM Group. ASDAM provides end to end capabilities for Defence, Industrial and Commercial customers across engineering, manufacturing, assembly and sustainment. With operations in over 20 locations across Australia and the United States, ASDAM employs approximately 1,000 staff and is Australia’s largest manufacturing and sustainment supplier to the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program.

Paul Morris

ASDAM Integration Manager

Paul has almost 40 years of experience in the aviation sector, including 15 years in the Royal Australian Air Force, firstly as an engine apprentice and then as an engineering officer, followed by a career in the Australian Public Service and now as a leader in the TAE Aerospace business with roles across engineering, operations and general management. He is currently leading the integration of TAE Aerospace’s global business into the ASDAM Group 

Paul holds a Bachelor of Engineering with First Class Honours, a Master of Business Administration and a Diploma of Project Management. 

Darren Hutchinson

Chief Strategy Officer/Head of Commercial MRO

Darren began his aerospace career as an Apprentice Aircraft Engineer in Ballarat. After completing his apprenticeship in 1988, Darren joined the Missionary Aviation Fellowship (MAF) where he worked as an all trades LAME in a variety of roles in PNG, Arnhem Land and Northern Australia. As he progressed through the business, he was appointed as the Workshop Manager and Chief Engineer, which included responsibility for the airworthiness of its aircraft fleet.

In 2001, Darren returned to Adelaide to join the Rossair business in the general aviation market. He then joined the TAE Aerospace group in 2008, when the business was acquired by TAE Aerospace. Throughout that time, he was an engine technician and quality engineer before moving into operations and general management.

Darren is now the Chief Strategy Officer for TAE Aerospace leading all strategic development and commercial activities for the company. Darren is also the Head of Commercial MRO for the company, leading all activities across our Australian and the United States operations in support of our commercial customers.

Darren holds a Master of Business Administration from Adelaide University.

Deidre Roos-Korf Headshot

Deidre Roos-Korf

Chief Human Resources Officer

Deidre is an agile business leader with a transformational mindset shaped by more than 26 years of experience, diversified across various industries. She has a well-demonstrated track record of success in leading multi-cultural and multi-national HR teams in large global organisations across three continents and now holds the role of Chief Human Resources Officer for TAE Aerospace.

She is passionate about putting people at the heart of an organisation.  Interests and experiences are in the field of employee well-being, organisation development and leadership.

She holds a PhD in Organisational Psychology (UNISA) and an MBA from the University of Warwick in the UK.

Deidre is a fellow of both the Australian HR Institute and the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) in the UK. She is a Board member/Advisor to the People Sub-Committee of the Mater Hospital Group and an Advisory Board member of the Work and Wellbeing Department at the University of Griffith.

Damien Richards

Head of Defence MRO

Damien is a mechanical and manufacturing engineer with extensive experience establishing and working in maintenance, manufacturing, construction and asset management industries across Asia Pacific. He has substantial general; operational and project management experience having led businesses and large-scale complex projects. This has included all areas of project and program management aided by a Masters in Project Management and Post Grad Business training. 

Damien is our Head of Defence MRO, leading the company’s activities in support of our Defence customers across the world through delivery of maintenance, repair and engineering services for fighter jets, trainers, transports and the M1 Abrams Main Battle Tank.

Mark Pearce

Chief Information Officer & Chief Compliance Officer

Mark has over three decades of experience in delivering business value by leveraging technology solutions that best fit business goals. 

In his current position as Chief Information Officer (CIO), Mark oversees all aspects of information, communications and technology (ICT) including IT business systems, information security and networks, data and analytics. He is charged with progressing an agenda that is transforming the TAE ICT landscape to support our business growth across the globe. Additionally, as Chief Compliance Officer, Mark has overall responsibility for the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) functions across the business, including quality management, risk management and security management. 

Mark joined TAE Aerospace in 2018 and brings with him a diversity of knowledge gained from numerous industry sectors, both domestically and abroad. Prior to joining TAE Aerospace, Mark was Associate Partner at Information Professionals, where he oversaw solution delivery and quality practice by providing management expertise on investment analysis, business change programs, projects and major business transformation programs. Previously, Mark was also CEO for K.J. Ross & Associates, one of Australia’s premier providers of software quality and testing services.
