Andrew Sanderson

Chief Executive Officer

Andrew started his aerospace career as an Engineering Officer with the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) in 1983. For the last two decades, he has held the positions of CEO and Managing Director at TAE Aerospace.

As the company’s leader, Andrew has grown the aerospace business from its fledging beginnings, two decades ago, to its current status as a global aerospace company — servicing both defence and commercial aviation markets in Australia, Asia-Pacific and the United States.  

Across 11 sites in Asia-Pacfic and North America, Andrew leads a company of more than 350 staff. The various sites deliver a broad range of aerospace products and services including defence and commercial turbine engine and component maintenance, engineering and advanced manufacturing, fire protection and rescue equipment and aircraft wheel and brake maintenance to a diverse and expanding global customer base.

Andrew holds a Bachelor in Aeronautical Engineering from RMIT and a Master of Business Administration from the University of New England.

Paul Morris

EGM Military Systems

Paul has over 34 years of experience in the aviation sector, including 15 years in the Royal Australian Air Force, firstly as an engine apprentice and then as an engineering officer and following with 6 years in the Australian Public Service. He is now the Executive General Manager of TAE Aerospace’s Military Systems division.

In his current position, Paul is responsible for leading and managing our Military Systems engineering, maintenance and manufacturing operations at the Ipswich, Amberley, Banyo, Newcastle and Melbourne sites. Paul leads and manages the delivery of military engine MRO, engineering and logistics, material repair, projects, aerospace manufacturing, fire protection and rescue, and aircraft wheels and brakes maintenance.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Engineering with First Class Honours, a Master of Business Administration and a Diploma of Project Management.

Larry Lowry

Vice President US Operations

TAE Aerospace Vice President of US Operations, Larry Lowry, has gained extensive technical and managerial experience during his 30+ years in the aerospace industry. He started his career as a research and development engineer at Aeronca Aerospace in Middletown, Ohio, while completing his studies in aerospace engineering.

Prior to joining us at TAE Aerospace, Larry served as Vice President, Chief Operations Officer, National Flight Services in Toledo, Ohio. In 2018, he started the US-registered business entity TAE Aerospace Inc (a Delaware Corp) for TAE Aerospace.

In his current VP position, Larry is responsible for overseeing the US acquisition process and integration with TAE Aerospace Inc. He manages operations in US acquisitions including turbine engine component maintenance, repair and overhaul facilities in Texas, Missouri and Arizona and engine maintenance, repair and overhaul facilities in Arizona, Idaho and Alaska.

Larry holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering.

Darren Hutchinson

EGM Turboprop & Components/Chief Strategy Officer

Darren began his aerospace career as an Apprentice Aircraft Engineer in Ballarat. After completing his apprenticeship in 1988, Darren joined the Missionary Aviation Fellowship (MAF) where he worked as an all trades LAME in a variety of roles in PNG, Arnhem Land and Northern Australia. As he progressed through the business, he was appointed as the Workshop Manager and Chief Engineer, which included responsibility for the airworthiness of its aircraft fleet.

In 2001, Darren returned to Adelaide to join the Rossair business in the general aviation market. He then joined the TAE Aerospace group in 2008, when the business was acquired by TAE Aerospace. Throughout that time, he was an engine technician and quality engineer before moving into operations and general management. Darren is now the Chief Strategy Officer for TAE Aerospace and Executive General Manager for the Turboprop & Components Division. As EGM Turboprop & Components Darren is responsible for leading and managing our Business and General Aviation (BGA) engine and component MRO operations in our Adelaide site in Australia and all US sites in Arizona, Texas, Missouri, Alaska and Idaho along with leadership for strategic development and pursuits by TAE Aerospace as the Chief Strategy Officer.

Darren holds a Master of Business Administration from Adelaide University.

Tracey Neal

Chief Human Resources Officer

Tracey is a human resources professional. After over a decade in various functions of human resources at TAE Aerospace, she now holds the role of Chief Human Resources Officer for TAE Aerospace.

With her experience across all areas of the employee lifecycle, Tracey has responsibility for overseeing the global human resources and safety functions for TAE Aerospace. She works with our leaders to drive the company’s human capital management strategy, including talent management, leadership development, diversity and inclusion, cultural development, succession planning, remuneration and benefits, and employee engagement to support the company’s continued growth, innovation and profitability.

In addition to earning a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science, Tracey holds a Masters in Human Resource Management from the University of South Australia.

John Hall

Chief Risk Officer

John is the Chief Risk Officer for TAE Aerospace. In this role, he manages a global portfolio across all facilities. His portfolio is responsible for developing and implementing the compliance strategy and functional excellence for operational risk, health, safety and environment management, global export and trade, security and regulatory support.

During his 42 years in the aviation industry, John worked for 20 years with the RAAF, including on secondments to Army Aviation, as a civilian with the Defence Aviation Directorate of Quality Assurance. During this time John was awarded an Order of Australia Medal from services to Defence and an Australia Day Medallion. For the past ten years, John has been a member of the TAE Aerospace Executive Leadership Team.

Today, John is a recognised aerospace industry expert with deep expertise in ISO9001, AS9100 and National Airworthiness Authority (NAA) maintenance and engineering approvals, risk management frameworks, and business and quality improvement. He has also presented at national and international regulatory and quality management conferences. 

During his time at TAE Aerospace, John has overseen the introduction of an ever-growing number of additional OEM, NAA and Defence approvals. 

David Stinchcombe

Chief Financial Officer

David has over 23 years’ experience in finance leadership and change, across multiple industries.

In his current position as Chief Financial Officer, David is responsible for TAE Aerospace’s overall financial and strategic management, including the company’s financial reporting and long-range business planning.

David has extensive operational and financial experience in TAE Aerospace’s defence and commercial businesses. He has completed over ten years of service as the company’s principal interface with the board of directors and ensured financial disclosures and regulatory compliance remain timely, transparent and efficient.

Prior to TAE Aerospace, David held executive positions at PwC, Barclays Bank and the Financial Services Authority.

Damien Richards

Chief Project Officer

Damien is a mechanical and manufacturing engineer with extensive experience establishing and working in maintenance, manufacturing, construction and asset management industries across Asia Pacific. He has substantial general, operational and project management experience having led businesses and large scale complex projects. This has included all areas of project and program management aided by a Masters in Project Management and Post Grad Business training.

Damien is our Chief Project Officer. In this role Damien is responsible for managing the company’s Organisational Project Management system along with our global Shared Services functions of; Risk, Quality Assurance and Business Improvement.

Mark Pearce

Chief Information Officer

Mark has over three decades of experience in delivering business value by leveraging technology solutions that best fit business goals.

In his current position as Chief Information Officer (CIO), Mark oversees all aspects of information, communications and technology (ICT) including IT business systems, information security and networks, data and analytics. He is charged with progressing an agenda that is transforming the TAE ICT landscape to support our business growth across the globe.

Mark joined TAE Aerospace in 2018 and brings with him a diversity of knowledge gained from numerous industry sectors, both domestically and abroad. Prior to joining TAE Aerospace, Mark was Associate Partner at Information Professionals, where he oversaw solution delivery and quality practice by providing management expertise on investment analysis, business change programs, projects and major business transformation programs. Previously, Mark was also CEO for K.J. Ross & Associates, one of Australia’s premier providers of software quality and testing services.
